I’d like to think that somewhere in a dark basement studio at Disney there are a bunch of aging rockers reminiscing about the coked up eighties and laughing their way to the bank writing hits for tween stars like Miley Cyrus. Have a listen to Corey Hart‘s 1983 hit “Sunglasses at Night” and Miley’s 2007 release “See You Again”.

I don’t hear the similarity besides the first couple notes in each phrase.
