Franz Ferdinand vs. Finger Eleven vs. Skid Row

Tobin submitted Finger Eleven’s 2007 track “Paralyzer” vs. Skid Row’s 1988 “Youth Gone Wild”. As soon as I heard “Paralyzer” I thought of  Franz Ferdinand’s 2004 hit “Take Me Out”. Although I’m not totally convinced of the third Skid Row similarity I thought I would post it anyway cause this track is such a classic.

Finger Eleven – “Paralyzer” (2007)
Skid Row – “Youth Gone Wild” (1988)

I was trying to find a song that sounded like Take Me Out, but was newer and had a female vocalist. It turns out it was Shut Up And Let Me Go by the Ting Tangs. I don’t listen to the radio, so I don’t know how stupidly obvious this was.

Thanks for the comment Stuart. Yes! I’ve been meaning to add the Ting Tings track for quite a while!
