Thanks! I have been pointing this out to people for years! There are quite a lot of notes that were copied here within the duplicated melody (in the same key no less) and no doubt this would be an easy slam dunk plagiarism case but the Beatles were never that petty. Now compare that to how few duplicated notes it took for Bright Tunes Music to successfully sue George Harrison, comparing “My Sweet Lord” to the “Do lang do lang do lang” melody in the Chiffon’s hit “He’s So Fine”.
