I need some help with this one.
Ever since Patrick mentioned this to me it’s been driving me nuts. According to Wikipedia John Denver sued New Order claiming that, “its wordless guitar break was based on his ‘Leaving on a Jet Plane’”. And later an out-of-court settlement, “ensured that the song would never be re-released in its original form”. I’ve listened to a few different versions of Run2 and all I can find is what I grabbed in this post. I either don’t have the correct original version or John Denver was smoking some really strong pot.
