I’d like to think that somewhere in a dark basement studio at Disney there are a bunch of aging rockers reminiscing about the coked up eighties and laughing their way to the bank writing hits for tween stars like Miley Cyrus. Have a listen to Corey Hart‘s 1983 hit “Sunglasses at Night” and Miley’s 2007 release “See You Again”.

oh lord. this was the FIRST comparison I thought of when I first heard the song a couple of years ago.
I don’t hear the similarity besides the first couple notes in each phrase.
Sunglasses at Night (Released in ’84) and Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics (Released in ’83)..
That’s a good one Ted!
Sunglasses at Night vs. Take Me Home Tonight by Eddie Money.
eurythmics: sweet dreams
rammstein: rosenrot
You can also throw Zack Ryder’s “Radio” into the mix, although that similarity was no secret.
