The chorus of Jermaine Jackson‘s “When the Rain Begins to Fall” is strangely familiar to Britney Spears‘ 2011 track “Hold it Against Me”. When I first heard this track I also thought about Survivor’s “Can’t Hold Back” (1984) [who appear previously on ThatSongSoundsLike] and Cutting Crew‘s 1986 hit “(I Just) Died in Your Arms”. It won’t be much of a surprise that this Spears track was produced by none other than Dr. Luke who has made numerous appearances on this site.

Thanks to Lennart for submitting the Jermaine Jacksons track

Mika – Relax, take it easy
Vs
Cutting Crew – (I Just) Died in your arms

I’d Die For You- Bon Jovi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qy4yXNWWruI
I think this one’s closer.
i know bellemy brothers werent exactly thrilled when they heard a certain line in britneys song
but then again the legendary groucho marx was known for using that line before the bellemys
I would also classify all the above, except for “(I Just) Died in Your Arms” , to be the same melody as the CatrianiPlay group.
Yup! Definitely.
