Here’s an interesting story my friend Kenny pointed out to me.
It’s not an uncommon practice for ad agencies to produce “sound-alike” music for their spots especially if the artist does not want to be involved. In this case the band Beach House felt their track “Take Care” (2010) was not relevant to the Volkswagen ad depicting a father raising his daughter until finally buying her a new VW.
