Just listen to the intro to HAIM‘s “The Wire” (2013) and the intro to “Heartache Tonight” (1979) by The Eagles. I figured I would throw Gary Glitter‘s “Rock and Roll” (1972) in here for good measure. Enjoy!
HAIM - "The Wire" (2013)
The Eagles - "Heartache Tonight" (1979)
Gary Glitter - "Rock and Roll" (1972)
On a side note, it’s fun to Photoshop afros.

I grew up roller skating to Rock and Roll (Part II) and there are a number of songs that borrow the same beat including a couple by the Black Keys. Here’s my list:
Draggin’ Tthe Line – Tommy James
Mony, Mony – Tommy James
Howlin’ for You – The Black Keys
Gold On The Ceiling – The Black Keys
Mas Tequila – Sammy Hagar
Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress – The Hollies
Nice, thanks for the list! Maybe I’ll put up a compilation post of these. For some reason when I think of roller skating I think of Stacey Q’s “Two of Hearts”.
I knew “Gold On The Ceiling” sounded familiar, but I could never place it until now! Good find.
heres a weird one
