Jet‘s  “Look What You’ve Done”  borrows heavily from the The Beatles‘ “Sexy Sadie”. Check out the chorus of both.

Jet “Are You Gonna be My Girl” sounds like Iggy Pop “Lust for Life”

As soon as I heard this song I knew there was something suspicious. Jet‘s 2005 track “Are You Gonna be My Girl” lifts heavily from Iggy Pop‘s 1977 classic “Lust for Life”. (They also must’ve made a killing from the Apple iPod ads.)

Jets to Brazil vs. Nirvana

As a Jawbreaker fan I was super pscyhed to hear Jets to Brazil’s 1998 debut Orange Rhyming Dictionary. Although a really great album, I was never able to listen to “I Typed for Miles” without thinking of Nirvana’s “Heart Shaped Box” (1993). Even AMG seems to think so!
