Kesha vs. Alphaville

Another one from Kesha who’s 2010 track “Kiss n Tell” sounds a lot like  Alphaville‘s 1984 hit “Forever Young”. I have Youth Group‘s 2006 cover here as well for fun which was featured in the hit television show The O.C.

“Kiss n Tell” is produced by Dr. Luke and Max Martin.

Kesha - "Kiss n Tell" (2010)

Alphaville - "Forever Young" (1984)

Katy Perry vs. The Beach Boys

Out of all of the musical similarities I have pointed out on the post Katy Perry vs. Kesha then followed by Katy Parry vs. Kesha vs. Miley Cyrus vs. Justice , Beach Boys reps are threatening to sue Katy Perry for her use of the line “I wish they all could be California Girls,” in her song “California Gurls.”

Reps for the Beach Boys are threatening to sue Katy Perry after she included their classic line “I wish they all could be California Girls,” in her song “California Gurls.”
Rondor Music has fired off a letter to Perry’s label, Capitol Records, demanding Mike Love and Brian Wilson — who penned the 1965 classic “California Girls” — be given a writing credit on Perry’s hit summer song, as well as royalties.
