I always thought there was something familiar about the 2002 Spider-Man theme “Hero”.  Have a listen to Seal’s 1995 hit “Kiss From a Rose” next to Chad Kroger’s (of Nickelback) “Hero”.

Update 7/19/2012:
Ex-Saliva front man, Josey Scott also co-wrote and performed “Hero” with Chad Kroeger. Check out Saliva’s “Survival of the Sickest” (2004) with Marilyn Manson‘s “The Fight Song” (2000)
