Scott points out the similarities between Radiohead‘s 1997 track “Karma Police” and The Beatles‘ 1968 song “Sexy Sadie”
There’s a pretty obvious similarity here in both piano parts. Have a listen:
The Beatles - "Sexy Sadie" (1968)
Radiohead - "Karma Police" (1997)

That George Harrison… first he steals My Sweet Lord, then he time travels to 1990s to rip off Radiohead.
This is a John Lennon song.
Hi Matt, I’m going by the Wikipedia entry for the song. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexy_Sadie. Is this incorrect?
George just asked to change the title, the song was written by John.
“Look What You’ve Done” by Jet (2003) goes one better. Verses sound like Radiohead’s “Black Star” (1995) while the chorus directly lifts from, you guessed it – “Sexy Sadie”
The Beatles – “Sexy Sadie”
Sexy Sadie, what have you done?
You made a fool of everyone…
Jet – “Look What You’ve Done”:
Oh, look what you’ve done
You’ve made a fool of everyone…
Indeed!
Hey Pete. Thanks for the “Black Star” one. Not bad. I also just posted “Sexy Sadie” one. Somebody sent that to me a while back.

Swing! and a miss.
From what I remember Thom Yorke or one of the band members of Radohead did confirm the similarities between Karma Police & Sexy Sadie. I think that The Beatles are a huge influence on Thom, and used the same kind of cords to pay a little homage to The Beatles, many could even call Karma Police “Radiohead’s Beatle-esque song”/”Radiohead’s Beatles Tribute Song”.
Not to mention the opening piano of Karma Police sounds like Imagine by John Lennon
